Closer to its client ! It took French Builder Gerim, less than 7 months to complete a 9.375 m² turnkey complex in Onnaing (F) for Portuguese company Simoldes Plasticos, a specialist in plastics injection moulding. Simoldes Plasticos, is a supplier to the Renault Maubeuge and Renault Douai production lines. The company has 6 plants in Portugal and 24 lorries were dedicated daily to the delivery of parts for the manufacture of Scénic and Kangoo automobiles. In order to get closer to its client, Simoldes Plasticos decided to establish a facility in Onnaing, just half-way, between Maubeuge and Douai. Simoldes Plasticos placed the construction contract with a well-known general contractor, the ASTRON Builder Gerim to build a turnkey complex with warehouse, assembly shop and offices. Gerim executed the entire project, with the exception of the installation of the 2 cranes (30 tons and 16 tons capacity), on a turnkey basis.
