Largest riding hall in Czech Republic
The largest riding hall in Czech Republic with the surface of 3,600m² near the city of Litovel was nominated to the “Building of the Month” April. It was built by Czech Builder E.PROXIMA s.r.o. The riding hall was designed to be in all year round operation. In addition to regular trainings with horses, sessions of equestrian competitions take place in this building. Inner space is used at its maximum as the hall has 36m free span without interior columns. This generous space gives possibility for the construction of spectator stands and other facilities in the future.
Insulated single skin roof provides the building with good acoustic. On top of that, during winter period the roof has no problems of condensation. Wall sheeting combines simple brown ribbed panels with mineral panels, which are decorated with print imitating stones. Investor decided for this solution of wall sheeting design because of the regulation of conservationists, which required good integration of building into natural surroundings.
Investor planned construction of this riding hall for very long time, weighed up all possibilities and searched for best solution. He decided for an Astron building and cooperation with Builder E.Proxima. Investor´s requirements were satisfied and he is very content with the result.
