Aircraft Hangar in France
EIFFAGE Construction Strasbourg teams, Astron Builder in Oberhausbergen (Alsace region), won the public tender launched by the International Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport regarding the construction of an aircraft hangar of 1,250m².
Speed of design and construction, associated with the Astron system, helped to deliver the building in a record time of 2 months from the first day of work.
A tense schedule of works associated with the technical advantages of Astron (clear span, sandwich panels, oversized rolling gates, ...) perfectly meet the needs of business aviation.
A few technical details: the hangar is composed of two buildings side by side with a 6,35m eave height and wide openings of 19 x 4,90m allowing the installation of industrial folding doors especially produced by Bator for civil and military aviation.
The walls are made of Promisol V 1150 blue-grey panels (RAL 5008), with a thickness of 60mm and the roof is equipped with Ondatherm 1040 TS anthracite grey panels (RAL 7016), also with a thickness of 60mm.
The client was so satisfied with this building that EIFFAGE Construction is currently studying the future extension of these premises.
